Citizens Bank is hiring dedicated Mortgage Loan Officers who proactively identify, build and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.

You will interview new and existing customers to determine their loan needs and advise on appropriate products, terms, and pricing, while gathering required information and generating complete mortgage applications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales.
• Two+ years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume in the past 12 months of $8 million (minimum).
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet SAFE Act requirements and obtain NMLS Unique Identifier.

Responsibilities

• Interview customers to determine loan needs and advise on products, terms, and pricing.
• Gather required information and generate complete mortgage applications.
• Meet sales goals and contribute to branch success.
• Develop and expand a book of business through real estate agents, builders and professionals.
• Collaborate with peers across banking, lending and investing to serve clients.
