Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or a medical office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess medical equipment needs, and recommend appropriate products.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on proper use, care, and maintenance of durable medical equipment.
• Collect and verify patient demographics, prescriptions, and insurance information.
• Review physician orders for equipment set ups.
• Set up CPAP, BiPAP, and related respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients on proper use, mask fitting, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Demonstrate equipment operation and answer patient questions.
• Ensure patients understand compliance requirements and follow-up procedures.
• Accurately document patient information, equipment serial numbers, and setup details.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
