Qualifications

• Active CPA with strong corporate accounting background.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement prep.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and ability to apply guidance to complex transactions.
• Experience mentoring accounting professionals.
• Excellent Excel skills, including PivotTables.
• Effective cross-functional communication and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of two Financial Accountants and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations for GAAP compliance.
• Analyze operating results and cost drivers with management.
• Maintain internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Support interview, hiring, and training of accounting staff.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on accounting policy and close.
• Ensure audit-readiness of financial records.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
