Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related experience.
• Fluent in Japanese is a big plus.
• Five+ years financial accounting experience.
• Five+ years managerial accounting (cost accounting) experience.
• Automotive industry experience preferred (3+ years).
• Factory/inventory accounting experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong operational and technical accounting background.
• Self-starter, flexible, high integrity, team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform month-end closing and reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Analyze cash flow and assist with budgeting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and respond to inquiries.
• Implement process improvements and automation.
• Supervise 1–3 team members and provide training.
