Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC seeks an experienced Accounting Supervisor in Atlanta to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, internal reporting, and account reconciliations. You will lead a team, ensure SOX compliance, and maintain strong internal controls while delivering timely financial analyses.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting, GAAP proficiency, and excellent communication skills. CPA or MBA preferred; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with SOX compliance and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and internal financial reporting.
• Perform and review complex account reconciliations and analyses.
• Direct activities of general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation, fixed assets, and capital expenditure accounting.
• Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements and resource use.
• Lead teams through change while maintaining internal control integrity.
• Prepare schedules for auditors and respond to audit inquiries.
