Job summary

The Alliance Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, support the month-end close, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Lead and develop a small accounting team, ensure GAAP compliance, coordinate audits, and partner with management on reporting and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.
• Manage and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist with annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Partner with management on financial reporting and special projects.
