Job summary

Franklin County PA is seeking a Courtroom Technician to oversee daily Court Technology operations, capture and manage the official court record via the FTR Gold suite, and ensure all systems run smoothly in the 39th Judicial District, Franklin County branch.

You will collaborate with judges, court administration, and IT to maintain recordings, provide A/V support, and train staff in court technology usage.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand English clearly to perform duties.
• Experience with courtroom IT and recording systems preferred.
• Knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain digital recording equipment and verify proper function daily.
• Provide first-tier technical support for courtroom A/V systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and test in courtrooms as needed.
• Maintain electronic court recordings and logs of proceedings.
• Assist with transcript requests and prepare related documents.
• Operate office and courtroom A/V equipment and interface with IT.
• Train staff on court technology use and update digital signage.
