Job summary

United States Courts in San Jose seeks a Courtroom Technology Specialist to support audiovisual and courtroom technology within the San Jose Division, coordinating audio/video conferencing, evidence presentation, streaming, and recording. Will assist the Systems Technology Administrator and provide end-user helpdesk support.

The role requires professional interaction with judges, court staff, and the public, with occasional travel to other divisions.

Qualifications

• Two years of specialized experience in audiovisual or courtroom technology required.
• Experience with AV over IP and video conferencing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain courtroom technology, including A/V systems and recording equipment.
• Coordinate videoconferences, streaming, and live events in courtrooms.
• Provide helpdesk support for end users and assist with IT operations.
• Assist with upgrades, cabling, and equipment installations.
• Advise leadership on technology needs and provide user training.
