Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage, and using best practices for various bag types.
2. Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from baskets, offering help with loading bags into cars, and performing basic shelf conditioning.
3. Informing customers of grocery specials, returning merchandise to shelves, and gathering and returning shopping carts.
4. Cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store, and handling seasonal merchandise.
5. Understanding store layout, locating products, conducting price checks, and reinforcing safety procedures.
6. Adhering to all food safety regulations, inspecting equipment, and reporting repairs needed.
7. Creating a welcoming environment by answering questions and providing support, especially to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
8. Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and managing conflicts professionally.
9. Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
10. Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
