Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

As part of our team, you will be responsible for:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, aiming for efficiency and care to prevent damage, while striving to bag at least five items per bag.
2. Assisting customers by removing merchandise from shopping carts and helping load bags into their vehicles.
3. Performing basic shelf conditioning, restocking, and returning merchandise to shelves.
4. Informing customers about grocery specials and gathering shopping carts.
5. Maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store, including cleaning spills and collecting trash.
6. Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
7. Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
8. Practicing preventive maintenance and notifying management of equipment issues.
9. Providing a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
10. Following all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
11. Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts respectfully, and acting with honesty and integrity.
12. Supporting and assisting diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
