Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging using various types of bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts for storage.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash, and cleaning store and parking lot areas.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
