Job summary

Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One, seeks a Business Analyst II to support the court’s case management system and related applications. This role bridges multiple departments, capturing operational needs for software design and deployment, while emphasizing proactive communication and collaboration.

The position requires 2 years in business application support or analysis, with a Bachelor of Science or equivalent, and prefers 5+ years in related work.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience performing business application support or business process analysis.
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent education/experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-tier support for the court’s case management system and related applications, in-person and remotely.
• Identify and implement configuration changes to the case management system.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for development.
• Support the SDLC lifecycle including testing and deployment.
• Create and maintain test cases (regression, functional, UAT).
• Provide training on new releases and system updates.
• Analyze workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and UX.
• Collect and analyze data to assist tracking case processing statistics.
• Ensure data integrity across systems with regular audits.
• Document changes, enhancements, bugs, and defects in the system.
