Job summary

Maricopa County is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to research, analyze, define, and document business processes, rules, and requirements. The role collaborates with executives and technical staff to implement improvements and new methodologies that enhance service delivery to the justice system and public.

This position requires in-office presence at least twice weekly. The department emphasizes fair access to justice, customer service, teamwork, and ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of business process analysis and/or business requirements documentation experience in an information technology or business environment.
• Experience managing business components of simple to complex process improvement projects and/or small system implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison between business and technology personnel and recommends process improvements.
• Creates use case scenarios, business process modeling, flow charts and other tools to capture requirements.
• Translates business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) and documents results.
