Job summary

State of Arizona is seeking a data analyst to support statewide reporting through robust data collection, validation, and maintenance of statistical datasets. You will develop reporting interfaces in SAS, dashboards, and accompanying documentation while coordinating with courts and stakeholders.

The role also involves testing, training staff, and presenting data-driven insights; occasional travel and adherence to confidentiality requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in criminal justice, social science, or related field; coursework in research methods, statistics, or database management.
• Minimum of three years of applied statistical research or relational database experience.
• Proficiency with statistical software and understanding of database structures; ability to build queries and maintain programs.
• Ability to work independently, manage confidential information, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and maintain statewide statistical data and survey datasets.
• Develop testing scenarios; create dashboards and reporting interfaces in SAS and other tools.
• Maintain and update webpages and dashboard content; support courts with reporting requirements and inquiries.
