Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop and helpdesk support experience.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Operating Systems in a support role.
• 3+ years of hands-on end-user support for workstations, servers, mobile devices.
• High level knowledge of data center hardware (UPS, cabling, switches).
• High level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of district personnel.
• Professional appearance and ability to multitask and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-tier end-user support for workstation and server hardware.
• Analyze, log, track and resolve software/hardware issues including networking, printers, servers, and applications.
• Troubleshoot and document events; recommend actions and implement.
• Coordinate with network/server/app teams to restore service.
• Assist in software installations, patches, and upgrades; maintain security.
• Support data recoverability via backups and archives.
• Coordinate database troubleshooting to improve reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Escalate complex problems to subject matter experts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
