Job summary

The Center for Justice Innovation seeks a Supervising Release Program (SRP) staffer in Brooklyn, NY. You will supervise SRP participants, perform court monitoring, and coordinate with courts, prosecutors, and defense attorneys to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include detailed case management, conducting outreach, and collaborating with clinicians and cross-team staff to strengthen programming and outcomes. A strong commitment to justice and equity is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years direct practice experience required; or six years direct practice with high school diploma.
• Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal system strongly preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Forensic Psychology valued but not required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and court monitoring for SRP participants according to their tier and level; complete check-ins with dignity and respect.
• Work with participants to identify barriers to compliance with supervision and court attendance.
• Provide comprehensive case management by coordinating internal and external resources and referrals.
• Monitor compliance with supervision requirements and conduct outreach to participants and defense attorneys.
• Maintain data entry and reporting to court within designated time frames.
