ABB Inc. is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive corporate law guidance for US operations, including fiduciary duties, governance, and compliance.

You will advise the US Country Holding Officer, lead regulatory filings, manage risk, and oversee contract negotiations while coordinating with global Legal & Integrity teams. This remote role requires JD and 10+ years in multinational settings and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from a US accredited law school with active bar admission and 10+ years in corporate/commercial law.
• Experience in multinational manufacturing environments or top-tier law firms.
• Ability to manage fiduciary responsibilities, governance, and decentralized operations.
• Proficiency in contract review, drafting, negotiation and M&A; corporate secretarial functions.
• Deep understanding of data privacy, US government contracting, licensing and related regulations.
• US work authorization to work for ABB in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accountability for Legal & Integrity fiduciary duties, governance, and compliance for US entities.
• Advise the US Country Holding Officer and senior management on governance, risk, and strategic legal matters.
• Oversee integrity investigations, government contracting compliance, data privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory certifications.
• Provide counsel on contracts and shared legal entity matters; coordinate with global centers of excellence.
