NORTHESTER SUPPLY INC is seeking a Counter Sales Associate in a full-time role to assist walk-in and phone customers with product selection and order fulfillment. You will leverage product knowledge to solve customer needs and build lasting relationships while maintaining accurate inventory and pricing accuracy.

Responsibilities include order fulfillment, customer service, and upselling, with opportunities to grow product expertise and collaborate with the team in a dynamic branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Product, applications, or wholesale distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours daily.
• Able to stoop, bend, and reach inventory; work in indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and telephone customers with product selection and orders.
• Fulfill orders and manage inventory for delivery or pickup.
• Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
• Upsell complementary products and maintain knowledge of stocked brands.
• Greet customers professionally and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with team to follow procedures and maintain a positive environment.
