Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants in Cherry Hill, NJ, is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Autumn Lake at Cherry Hill. You will provide treatment under an OT's direction in a skilled nursing rehab setting to help residents regain daily living skills.

You will follow the OT plan, assist with dressing and personal care, use therapeutic activities to improve function, and document progress for the care team. New grads welcome, strong communication required.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey OT license and COTA certification are required.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and documentation skills are essential.
• Ability to provide attentive care within an established treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Follow the OT's plan of care to deliver treatment for residents' daily living goals.

$35–$40/hour | PRN

Help residents rebuild the skills behind their everyday routines. Stern Therapy Consultantsis hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Autumn Lake at Cherry Hill, providing individualized treatment under an Occupational Therapist's direction in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting.

What You'll Do

• Follow the supervising OT's plan of care to deliver treatment focused on residents' daily living goals.
• Guide personal care activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting with appropriate assistance and cueing.
• Use prescribed therapeutic activities to support coordination, upper-extremity function, and activity tolerance.
• Reinforce adaptive equipment techniques and strategies for managing tasks safely.
• Keep the OT informed of residents' progress, changing needs, and responses to treatment.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and share relevant care recommendations with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues.
