Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist at Autumn Lake at Southgate in Carneys Point, NJ to support residents' recovery with skilled nursing rehabilitation.

You will evaluate daily living skills, plan goals, and deliver interventions focused on self-care and independence, with supervision of COTAs and collaboration with the care team.

NJ OT license required; compensation is $55–$58 per hour plus referrals bonus and support from therapy leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong assessment skills and practical, individualized treatment planning.
• Effective communication and timely clinical documentation.
• Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' daily living skills, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance.
• Identify treatment priorities and establish goals that reflect each resident's needs and anticipated discharge setting.
• Deliver individualized interventions for personal care, functional transfers, and other daily activities.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and teach residents and caregivers techniques that support safety and independence.
• Provide clinical supervision to COTAs, reassess outcomes, and update treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain complete documentation and coordinate care recommendations with nursing and fellow rehabilitation professionals.

What You'll Do
