Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for PRN work at Autumn Lake at Ballenger Creek. Help skilled nursing residents put rehabilitation goals into practice through hands‑on treatment focused on self‑care, daily routines, and greater independence.
Provide occupational therapy treatments established in the supervising OT's plan of care.
Help residents practice dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily tasks using techniques appropriate to their abilities.
Incorporate prescribed therapeutic activities to address upper-extremity function, coordination, and activity tolerance.
Reinforce adaptive equipment use, energy conservation, and safety strategies recommended by the OT.
Observe residents' participation and responses, sharing progress and concerns with the supervising therapist.
Maintain timely treatment documentation and work with nursing and rehab staff to carry recommendations into daily care.
$35–$38 per hour.
PRN assignments coordinated with your availability and facility coverage needs.
Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
Support from therapy leadership and collaboration across the rehabilitation team.
Active Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to follow treatment plans and respond thoughtfully to residents' changing needs.
