Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Autumn Lake at Southgate in Carneys Point, NJ. You will provide skilled nursing rehabilitation under the supervising OT plan of care, focusing on daily independence and safety.

Qualifications

Autumn Lake at Southgate | Carneys Point, NJ

$35–$40/hour | PRN

Help residents put their rehabilitation progress to use in everyday life. Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Autumn Lake at Southgate in Carneys Point, NJ. You'll provide skilled nursing rehabilitation under the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care, with a focus on practical skills for daily independence.

What You'll Do

• Conduct treatment sessions that address the functional goals established by the OT.
• Support residents as they practice dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting with appropriate assistance and cueing.
• Integrate prescribed exercises and activities that improve upper-extremity function, coordination, and activity tolerance.
• Reinforce adaptive equipment use and techniques for completing tasks safely while conserving energy.
• Recognize changes in residents' abilities or treatment responses and communicate findings to the supervising OT.
• Record interventions and progress clearly, working with nursing and rehab colleagues to reinforce care strategies between sessions.
