Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility rehabilitation team. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapies to help patients regain independence.

This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a supportive team, including mentorship, free CEUs, and opportunities to work across the country with our Journey Travel Program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well and restore independence.
• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities according to recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and adapt to individual patient needs and environments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Support a culture of compassionate care and teamwork in the facility.
