Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility team. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and help patients regain independence in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with the director of rehab, and ongoing professional growth through our mentorship and CEU offerings. Join a trusted national provider delivering high-quality rehab services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program meeting AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification from NBCOT is required or eligible for licensure.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and refer to others as needed for patient care.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support families.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial certification from National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state
