Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy across our patient population. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and help patients regain independence with compassionate care.

You will work under the Director of Rehab in a supportive team that emphasizes growth, mentorship, and high-quality outcomes for every patient we serve across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient to promote independence and personal function.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered atmosphere for patients and families.

Education

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
