Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver evidence-based treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will follow OT goals and document progress in the patient chart.

Experience in long-term or geriatric care is preferred. You will collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care, maintain professional standards, and perform duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA license and registration for the state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Excellent documentation writing and timely weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment.
• Professional and punctual with reliable schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide treatment aligned to goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback via documentation and required methods.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Perform duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
