Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Florida is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver evidence-based treatments under the supervision of licensed OT staff. You will help patients meet goals through structured activities and timely documentation.

As part of the rehabilitation team you will coordinate care with other disciplines, maintain professional conduct, and complete duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.

Aufgaben

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of OT.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and maintain professionalism.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
