Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver evidence-based treatments under OT supervision. The role emphasizes accurate progress documentation, timely notes, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a geriatric setting.

Ideal candidates hold a valid state license, have experience in long-term/geriatric care, and demonstrate strong patient-service skills and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of the OT.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation writing and timely progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Report to work on time and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsabilités

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide feedback to the supervising OT via documentation or as required by facility policy.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure patient-centered care.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion.
