Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement OT plans under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. The COTA will provide treatment by adhering to goals developed by the OT and will document progress for weekly notes.

Experience with long-term or geriatric care is preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration with the rehab team, exceptional patient service, and timely documentation to support resident care.

Qualifications

• Active professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills for weekly progress notes.
• Excellent patient-service and clinical excellence.

Responsabilités

• Provide treatment under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Report to work on time and maintain professionalism.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
