Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver patient-centered treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will implement goals, document progress, and communicate outcomes to the supervising OT in line with facility policy.

The ideal candidate holds an active COTA license/registration, experience in geriatric or long-term care is preferred, and you demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and collaborative care

Qualifications

• Must hold an active professional license and registration for the state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient progress weekly in progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Demonstrates exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Punctuality and professionalism in all duties.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsabilités

• Carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of the OT.
• Provide treatment aligned to goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to the supervising OT via documentation or as required by policy.
