Job summary

Orchard View Post Acute is actively hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our compassionate rehabilitation team in a supportive environment.

You will provide OT treatments under a licensed OT, help residents improve strength and daily living activities, and collaborate with nurses and families to ensure smooth progress and a positive recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
• Post-acute or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Help residents improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills.
• Encourage and motivate residents throughout recovery.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly.
• Communicate with therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Contribute to a positive rehabilitation experience.
