Job summary

Midtown Oaks Post Acute in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time role within our rehabilitation team. You will provide OT treatments under supervision, help residents regain independence, and contribute to individualized plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Assist patients in improving functional mobility and independence with daily activities.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
