Job summary

Arbor Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation department and help residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License - or eligible to apply.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for improving the lives of others.
  • Skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Net Health or PointClickCare is helpful.
  • New graduates encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Help residents regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care.
  • Educate residents and families while building meaningful relationships.
  • Bring compassion, positivity, and energy to work every day.
