EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate in our Government & Infrastructure practice. The role supports day-to-day GL, AP, and expense functions, ensuring GAAP compliance, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Experience with Costpoint and government contracting is essential. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist with audits, and help drive timely financial reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Experience with government contracting and GL/AP processes.
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookups.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain general ledger account structures and configurations.
• Ensure transactions comply with GAAP, FAR, CAS, EY policies.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules on deadlines.
• Maintain audit-ready journal entry documentation and supports.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support period-end close activities and audits.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports per policy.
• Reconcile AP subledger to general ledger and manage vendor records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive compliant and timely financial reporting.
