Job summary

L&R Distributors in the United States seeks a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores in Louisville and LaGrange, KY. The role is part-time to full-time, focused on stocking, organizing, and displaying products and supporting store resets.

You will implement planograms, relocate products, set shelves, and ensure displays meet company and retailer standards while maintaining strong communication with store staff.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge a plus.
• Able to safely use ladders or step stools for high fixtures.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Service store routes according to assigned call frequencies, working with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process, merchandising delivery, fill forms, take photos, and maintain stock levels.
• Implement planograms and schematics to reset displays according to instructions.
• Ensure resets meet company standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planogram specs.
• Process returns per returns and reclamation guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, and returns.
• Communicate with Store Associates after each visit.
• Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt and check-in by store personnel.
• Provide professional communication with Store Management and Associates.
• Clean and organize display cases and shelves.
• Conduct store surveys and audits, including photos to solve issues.
• Service additional stores as needed.
