Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to ensure products are properly stocked, organized, and displayed across assigned retail locations.

You will support store resets by implementing new planograms, relocating products, and ensuring displays meet company and retailer standards. The role covers Alexandria, VA and Arlington, VA with up to 20 hours per week and potential transition to full-time after 60 days if 30+ hours weekly are met.

Qualifications

• Merchandising or retail experience required.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Service store routes per call frequencies with District Manager.
• Implement planograms and reset cosmetic displays per provided instructions.
• Install shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planogram specs.
• Process returns per company policies and reclamation guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and invoicing policies.
• Communicate professionally with Store Management and Store Associates.
• Complete store surveys and photo documentation as needed.
• Service additional stores as required.
