Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Channel Cortex Domain Consultant to bridge advanced technical expertise with partner enablement for Cortex, our AI-powered security operations platform. You will work with the partner ecosystem to drive SOC transformation, enablement, and successful deployments.

You will build deep partner capability, deliver technical training, and influence product roadmaps based on field insights.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting within Security Operations, including SIEM, SOAR, and XDR/EDR.
• Channel expertise with national partners, integrators, and distributors in channel sales models.
• Deep hands-on SOC workflows, threat hunting, and incident response experience.
• Proficiency in related cybersecurity domains and experience with deployments.
• Strong communication and ability to train and mentor partner teams.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical SME and trusted advisor for partner focus.
• Collaborate with channel sales to build joint growth plans for Cortex expansion.
• Plan and deliver technical training, workshops, and webinars for partner teams.
• Establish deep technical relationships with partner engineering teams.
• Provide pre-sales tech guidance and enablement materials to win opportunities.
• Act as feedback conduit to shape product roadmaps from partner insights.
• Keep partners updated on roadmaps and cybersecurity trends.
• Maintain records of engagements and pipeline impact.
