Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Channel Cortex Domain Consultant to bridge advanced technical domain expertise with strategic partner enablement for our Cortex portfolio, a next-gen AI-powered security operations platform.

You will build deep partner capability, architect SOC transformation strategies, and deliver high-impact enablement to help partners position, deploy, and sell Cortex solutions to end customers. Remote role with travel duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting in Security Operations.
• Experience with national partners, systems integrators, or distributors and channel sales models.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of SOC workflows, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Technical proficiency in Networking, Cloud Security, or related domains.
• Hands-on capability with product installations, configurations, architectures, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region for partner enablement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical SME and trusted advisor for key focus partners.
• Collaborate with channel sales to develop joint plans and identify growth for Cortex expansion.
• Plan and deliver training, workshops, and webinars to enable partner teams.
• Establish deep technical relationships with partner engineering teams.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and architectural guidance to win opportunities.
• Feed product roadmaps with partner field insights and market needs.
• Keep partners updated on Cortex roadmaps and cybersecurity trends.
• Maintain records of engagements and pipeline impact.
