Hood Container Corporation is expanding its sales team at our Grand Rapids corrugated converting facility in Michigan. We seek a collaborative Sales Manager to lead a local team, drive growth, and align with senior leadership on strategy.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, industry knowledge, and local relationship-building to support business growth. The Sales Manager will guide the Account Executives, set monthly/quarterly/annual goals, remove barriers, and provide creative solutions to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, sales, marketing or related field.
• Experience as a Sales Rep or Account Executive generating sales for a manufacturing site.
• Experience in a Management Role within a manufacturing company.
• Experience in the Corrugated Industry.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute sales strategy to support business objectives.
• Lead team of Account Executives including goal setting, skills development, and performance management.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and implement sales objectives and plans.
• Align sales strategy with business needs and collaborate with sales team to drive sales and grow market share.
• Communicate across all levels of leadership to increase efficiency between departments.
• Prepare annual sales budget forecasts.
• Prospect for new profitable accounts and service existing accounts regularly.
