Hood Container Corporation in Tampa, FL seeks a Sales Manager to lead our corrugated box plant's sales efforts. You will bridge the sales force with the business, guiding local strategy and goals to strengthen customer partnerships.

As a Sales Manager, you will drive profit through strategic plans, budget forecasting, and proactive account development while collaborating with Areas Sales Manager and General Manager to maximize market share and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field.
• Experience as a Sales Rep or Account Executive generating sales for a manufacturing site.
• Experience in a Management Role within a manufacturing company.
• Experience in the Corrugated Industry or Packaging Industry preferred.
• Analytical ability and critical thinking skills to problem solve and make informed business decisions.
• Driven mindset with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Demonstration of dynamic communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with all types of personalities.
• Adaptability is key as you will need to navigate and demonstrate flexibility in an environment that can be ambiguous and uncertain.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute sales strategy to support business objectives.
• Lead team of Account Executives including goal setting, skills development, and performance management.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and implement sales business objectives and plans.
• Align sales strategy with business needs and collaborate with sales team to drive sales, grow market share, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Interact and proactively communicate with all levels of leadership across the company and enforce communication between all departments in the plant to increase efficiency.
• Prepare annual sales budget forecasts.
• Prospect for new, profitable accounts and service existing accounts through regular contact.
