Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a corrosion protection technician to install, inspect, and maintain cathodic protection systems across designated pipeline facilities. You will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate procedures while documenting activities in corrosion databases and related reports.

The role involves fieldwork, routine surveys, and interaction with technicians and supervisors to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and safety measures in a demanding energy infrastructure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to train other technicians and evaluate skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, inspect and maintain cathodic protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA and company procedures.
• Read and interpret pipeline maps, as-builts, and schematics.
• Generate and maintain corrosion and compliance reports.
• Maintain facilities, grounds, and safe work practices.
• Support PHMSA audits and regulatory reviews.
