Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Corrosion Technician to apply corrosion knowledge across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. You will install, monitor, and troubleshoot cathodic protection systems, conduct critical measurements, and generate documentation while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires following procedures, reading technical diagrams, and collaborating with fellow technicians and supervisors to ensure reliable operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficiency with MS Office preferred.
• Ability to train other technicians may be required for advanced job levels.
• Experience in corrosion, cathodic protection, pipeline maintenance or related oil and gas fields considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, inspect, and maintain cathodic protection systems for pipelines and facilities.
• Perform required regulatory documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and maintain records.
• Conduct pipe-to-soil potential surveys and related measurements.
• Read and interpret pipeline maps, as-builts, drawings and schematics.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and regulatory compliance in work environments.
