Job summary

ICS is part of TKC Holdings, Inc. The Telecom Technician serves as the primary interface for facility system inquiries, tracking inmate concerns and resolving issues with phone systems and tablets.

The role requires repairing or replacing faulty telephone sets, generating reports, and coordinating with facility security for site visits. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in a high-tech environment with hardware, software, and networking experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Customer service experience.
• 3+ years in a high-tech environment with hardware, software, and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage inmate inquiries (grievances), complaints, and responses.
• Repair or replace broken telephone sets and manage tablets.
• Provide weekly updates of phone system status, repairs, and open items.
• Assist facility investigative personnel with reporting needs and tasks.
• Create trouble tickets and track repair/equipment requests.
• Coordinate site visits and materials delivery through facility security.
