Job summary

State of South Carolina seeks a supervisory security officer to direct the security staff and oversee inmate custody in a medium/maximum security facility. You will ensure the safety of buildings and property and perform routine unit checks for proper performance and OSHA compliance.

You will also assist with inmate counts, investigate complaints, and arbitrate disputes between inmates and staff while maintaining professional standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising security staff in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of buildings and property.
