Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise security staff assigned to housing units.
• Oversee custody and control of inmates.
• Conduct routine inspections of living areas for safety and sanitation.
• Investigate alleged misconduct by inmates and staff.
• Assist in informal and formal counts.
• Supervise staff performance and prepare evaluations.
• Counsel, discipline recommendations, and train subordinate staff.
• Prepare reports and perform Shift Lieutenant duties when needed.
