Responsibilities

• Oversee security personnel assigned to housing units and supervise inmate custody and control.
• Perform routine inspections of living areas for security, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Conduct investigations of inmate misconduct and security personnel incidents.
• Assist in conducting formal and informal counts and audits.
• Supervise staff performance, conduct, and appearance; prepare evaluations.
• Counsel, recommend discipline, and train staff to required standards.
• Prepare reports as needed or required.
