Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Manson, North Carolina for a correctional healthcare setting. This role offers a local pay of $53.00/hour with a W2 arrangement and a 12-hour shift.

You will assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor progress, and coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team. A strong focus on safety, infection control, and EMR documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NC nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1+ year RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of PSV (Primary Source Verification) as required by licensing board.
• Copy of BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records and TB test

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
