Job summary

Staff Today Inc. in Swan Quarter, NC is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a correctional healthcare setting. The RN will assess health conditions, administer medications, monitor progress, and coordinate with physicians.

Candidates must hold an NC RN license, have at least 1 year of RN experience, maintain required certifications, and be able to work 12-hour shifts. This is a W2, full-time role with local pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, valid NC RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of PSV or equivalent verification if required.
• Current BLS certification and immunization/TB records.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor progress, document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams for patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, plans, and medications.
• Respond to changes in condition and medical emergencies promptly.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other procedures within scope.
• Maintain accurate EMR and ensure compliance with policies.
