Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in Ridgeland, SC to deliver high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, and coordinating with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes. The successful candidate will hold a South Carolina RN license, have 1+ year of recent RN experience, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina RN license in good standing.
• 1+ year of RN experience preferred.
• BLS certificate required.
• Ability to pass licensure PSV as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications and discharge instructions.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy and other procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and facility policies.
