Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a cook supervisor to oversee the Summit segment team at Maverick County Jail in Texas. You will coordinate and supervise staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards in a fast-paced corrections environment.

The role focuses on directing culinary operations, training staff, and ensuring meals are served on time with consistent quality. A background in high-volume scratch cooking and team supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• The ideal candidate must have high-level product knowledge, friendly customer service and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• The ideal candidate must have experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation.
• Ensuring meal services begin on time and maintaining appropriate portion, appearance and temperature.
